My max ellery manual talks about the "IKS (idle tracking switch)" be does not explain where this switch is.... is it integrated with the IAC motor?? How does one go about testing it? (CFI system)

Jez, yep, its built into the idle motor on the CFI's.
To test the switch you will need to refer to yer manual for the correct pin and wire colours... from what i can remember,
one of the pins acts as a simple switch, 12V when open and 0V (grounded) when closed.. Green/white i think it is. You will need to do this test from the ECU connector with the ISC connected and ign on!
