idler pulleys.

I got told today my top and bottom idler pulleys need replacing because they are noisy. The mechanic put the screwdriver on them and had a listen. Now ive only got 65,000Ks on my au2 i6 ute ,i thought they would not have to be changed for a while yet.Is this normal. He quoted me $123 dollars.cheers.

Im going to a machinist to get them made from alloy and make it so i can just change the bearings for afew $$ rather than fors out up to $60+ each time.

Re: idler pulleys.

With the V8 sets, they have lipped edges on eitherside unabling them to be pressed out & changed.
