the ignition in my fe 87 ltd is stuffed it james up and cant be turned!
anyone no how to take the whole ignition bracket and barrel off? do u have to drill it out as theres no screws or bolts!?
any help much appreciated!

The Tumblers inside the Ignition Barrel of my XF Jammed. I called the locksmith to replace the ignition barrel...and as i recall he used a pin inside a small hole to pop the ignition barrel out of the assembly after he removed the steering wheel...

The reason i got a locksmith because i had no idea to get it out myself...

Anybody know the correct way about it??

But he used a genuine Ford Ignition Barrel..and it was on a Sunday!

cheers for your help, found that little hole whacked a pin in there and with a bit of force she came right out! saves me alot of hassle an work

To get the barrel out you are supposed to put the key in and turn it to ACC and insert a paperclip or something similar and pull the barrel out.
