Installed Davies/craig elec. water pump in AU - Ford Forums

Well after about 2 days work, I have put is the davies craig elec. water pump and i gotta say it's fantastic. There's definatley more power in the car and she zips upto 100 in no time. You can dial in a low temp. and the temp. meter will hardly move up the gauge! It was a pretty hard job having to take of the existing water pump to pull off the impeller. Main prolem was coolant leaks, so if anyone does it make sure you get new gaskets and use sealent!

I like the idea of running the pump for a couple of minutes after engine shut-off to prevent heat-soak, and if you have an alloy head this would be a definate advantage.
