Installing the Factory Clock

Hey guys

I'm installing the factory clock into my '94 EF falcon. I took out the kick panel, and there IS a plug there. Because im not putting the trip computer in, do i have to do any wiring, or is it plug and play??

Thanx

Chris

Nah, this one is too easy !

Basically, The clock is a plug and play thing.
All the wiring is there, and already connected for you.

So all you need to do is remove the Falcon Triangular Plastic Bit, then Clip the Clock module in to place.
Then finally plug the connector in.

You only have to worry about the clock not working, If you ORIGINALLY had a Trip Computer, (I.E. Fairmont, Fairlane, LTD), and wanted to replace it with the Clock (For some reason ???)
Cheers
Matti

When I put in the trip computer into my EL, I took out the clock and plugged it straight into the GF's EL Gli =] As Matti said, the triangular bit will have the plug stuck in a little groove to stop it from rattling around (altohugh not connecting to anything). Seriously, it took a grand total of around 2 minutes (about 1 minute 55 seconds taken to take out the dash screws hehe) Two words : TOO EASY =D

Cheers,
Steve

Edit : TOX|C - What are you doing with the kick panels ????

Tell Ford to get Stuffed. I live in SE Melbourne, and after phoning around a bit, i found a clock for $50, and a trip computer for $150 (Ford said around $300)

I went and got mine from the wrecker, and there was only one, 1mm nick out of one edge. I tell you, another $90 for 1 less nick... screw that!

Looks mad too!

Take it easy,

Chris
