Hmm the intake I've kept standard as such well apart from some flyscreen to prevent crap getting into it. However I've made a MPEFi intake box , bought a EF intake cut the bottom off got some wire mesh from the hardware store and put some fibre glass around it to make it - allot bigger. The only change I was experimenting with was modifying the fuel pressure regulator. Get the regulator inside the CFI housing get a clamp and crush it by about 10% (be gentle and very, very careful) and change the fuel spring inside it (i forget the guy who supplies them wil try and remember) and plug in a aftermaket map and hall sensor.
This costs about 150 bucks to do and with lots of patience about 3 hours work it does pay off. I have to remind you the changes done to this care are semi-legal so I think I'll be removing the bits from here and saving it for - special meets. My car gained around 28kw from the computer mods and more than 3kw from the fuel regulator mods.
I've decided to remove the bits from daily driving as the car sounds very loud, drivability was a pain at low speed and it consumed fuel like a V8. But hell it was the first time I spun the tyres in a straight line and finally hit the mid 7 sec mark for
0-100. I 'challenged' Servo's car at the last meet and was duly impressed. Though his car has some serious grunt for a EF and easily beats my car without the goodies in. Where you at the meet last time at Hexham Maccas? Probably saw you there. Before all the silly buggers started, woops I should not have said that.
