i finally put the EF LID on my EL airbox.wot i did was put 80mm cotton flex over the 80mm pvc in the back of the airbox,but it isnt quite right,so wot i wanna do is buy 90mm rubber rubber flex and use it from the airbox to the flex off the throttle body...will this be to big and cause me any troubles or power loses or will it work...

ill try and get some pics,as it turns out the setup i got is sweet as...it works a treat,so ill prolly just put the 90mm flex over the job to make it all look like one piece..

So you use 90mm flex pipe from the throtal body to the air box? Or have i misunderstood?

well wot i did was put 80 mm pvc in the back of the EF box then clamped it,i then,with great difficulty stretched 80mm cotton flex over the pvc then clamped it,i then cut the plastic neck that runs from the back off the EL box off at its widest opening near the lug that is used to bolt it down,then i stretched the 80 mm cotton flex over that and clamped it,i did this so the clamp on the original flex from the throttle body had something firm to grip when joined.and bobs ya uncle.i was considering using 90 mm flex but im not gonna.ive decided that with the piece of 90 mm i have im gonna sit it over the job i did and clamp it to the airbox lid.make it look like one piece,but it does look good as is..
