Intermittent wiper not working!! and it's raining :( - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hi,

Yesterday, I was working on my car, and I removed the centre peace where the radio cassette sits. It was hell, I had to remove glove box, handbrake, and center console. Anyways, I did this because mine has broken and was sagging on one side. Well, behind this piece, I found this little black box with 2 blocks connected to them. I checked on them and they were relays. I unpluged them, so I could replace the plastic piece. I connected them back up, and plugged the relays back. However, I don't know if there is more than one way to plug them in, because now my intermittent wipers dont work. If anyone has any ideas please post a reply.

ok i fixed the problem. i had a relay which was loose. so, if anyone with an EA, ever has a problem with there windscreen wipers, or rear dimister, the relays are located on the right wall inside the casset radio bay (oppsite side). to get to it, i layed down udner the stearing whell, with a torch, its quite easy to access once you get in the right position. btw jack, thnx for spell fix
