I've got an Eb S pack 5 speed manual with a stage 2 crow cam, whenever the car is around 1500 rpm and I am not accelerating its jerks backwards and forwards sometimes very badly. I noticed this started occuring after I put in the cam but it was very minor, now it has become a real problem. Just wondering if any one else has experinced this problem and any possible solutions?

wouldnt be in your engine, you did say u got it up to 1500 rpm,

so gotta be something in the tranny area. Check fer oil leaks first.

Hopefully u dont have too much power for your old tranny.

Might need a tranny mod too?

Its all in the cam shaft design and in the tuning of your car.
Chiptorque smoothed mine right out when it was doing it and I have a stage 5 cam in mine

Yes its in the tune in eec.Is it worse when you come off throttle and jerks like crasy ??? Lowering tps voltage in mine helped and a 8mm hole in butterfly..

Yes it is especially bad when you are off the throttle, like slowing down to stop at the lights or in peak hour traffic. What is tps voltage and how do you lower it?

I'm more into v8 but I guess this is the same?? It's the black plastic box on throttle body on end of throttle shaft.From memory three wires comeing from it . It reads the position of butterfly ["T"hrottle "P"osition "S"enser] some gains may be made by elongateing the mounting holes so it can be slightly adjusted.. With mine I found with hi flo heads and cam it needed MORE air at low rpm to remain stable. Try turning your idle up alittle too ??? I also think what causes it is eec tuning, when on decelleration the fuel is cut to safe emissions and fuel which causes this jerking esp with another cam..
