K+N

went to get a K+N panel filter for my AU today and they (repco) quoted me $163!! are they kidding? i thought these things were like about $110 or so?

how much is a pod filter worth does anyone know?
looking at maybe running a setup like gravelrash has done with the pod inside the filter box...

i have just set up the tickford snorkel, EF lid and BA intake pipe on my AU! looks the goods, havent really given it much to see how it goes yet but it can only help!

cheers

just a question to SVO302 where did you get the price for the pod filter from. I brought one with a 3 1/2inch inlet about a year & a half ago from Super cheap auto, i paid $80 that was with a staff discount so the actual price wasn't much more. They can't have gone up that much??? Panel filters are usually around $110.

Cheers, Adrian

There are other brands available also which are as good. Pipercross do a foam type which sell for around $95. Panel style filter. They supply Subaru WRC cars so the quality is up there.

Price seems to vary mine, was 143 for an ED one place had them for 137 but had sold out, if I ordered online from a distributer 127

so just shop around, and remember it is a long lasting device washable etc so if u treat it well you will eventually save some cash
