K&N Filters

Where is the best place to buy K&N Filters in Sydney's West?

Closer to Blacktown the better.

Thanks for that, I know of Rocket industries, they are close to home. I'll go there, hopefully they will have a sale on!

For information, they are on Huntingwood drive at Huntingwood.

If it involves a foam filter that you oil yes but probably only if you use too much oil. The excess oil can enter the throttle body and:

a) Gum up the butterfly valve.
b) Stop the ISC (idle speed control valve) working.

but some careful cleaning with carb cleaner can also usually fix these problems.

Am I likely to see ANY change in performance and/or fuel economy if I replace the standard paper filter in my unmodified XE with a K&N Filter??
