Hey all i dont really know whats wrong with my EL but when put in reverse and i full lock it side to side, theres a strange noise that comes from the front of the car! Its kind of like a knocking noise? This happens when i toally stationary, and today it started making the noise, not as bad, when i was slowing down from bout 30km/h to 0!

whats wrong? is it suspension related?

Could be worn or dry ball joints.
Give them a grease to see if that fixes it.
Had similar knock in AU11, until regreased ball joints.
Now seems OK.

Also worth checking the tie rod ends for free play.

In my EL rally car I had a similar noise and traced it to the two bolts that hold the rack to the crossmember. 14mm spanner if I recall correctly.
