Hey peopls!
It's me, the idiot again :s2:
Anyway, please forgive me for describing the parts the same way your mother would, but I'd rather say it like that than get it wrong...
Anyway, that spout-thingy that comes off the air-cleaner? Well, basically I had a little trouble starting the car (we were at an awkward slope on a hill... the car was on a slop of maybe 40 degrees to it's right) and when it did finally start up, the spout on the air cleaner "spat" a small gust of black smoke..
Now, I have no idea what that means, so I think it's scary!! So I was wondering if you guys could tell me if it's hell bad, bad, medium, or "it happens sometimes" ?
Once the car has warmed up a little, it runs like a dream with no problem what so ever - occasionally it suddenly loses power on a hill (but that's most likely to be caused by the clutch slipping, the cluctch is being replaced as I type this by the mechanic up the road from here).
Anyway, so any info on that smoke would be gr8

thanx guys
