Well bad news everyone... i just got back from the shower to discover that the motor in my Braun 7351 Plaque Remover is stuffed...
My main suspicion is that the head gasket blew and allowed water to seep into the main workings of the motor, causing the build up of algae and various other molds... I dont know whether to do a complete rebuild on the engine, perhaps slapping something more powerful (eg. motor from the "XR8" model, the Plaque Remover 3D)... or just go and buy a new stock braun...
Hey bro, I've got the base model Phillips (shaver) with a dual head and the motor in that is strating to get a bit tired... It's taking progressively longer to complete a shave in the morning. I was thinking reco? Or would it be cheaper to just get a new motor for it?
My Braun Toothbrush is still going strong after 1 year, though it has gone through several brush changes... The motor could do with more grunt. Anyone know of any cheap performance mods?
I think the plaque remover 3D has 3D oscilation, meaning it pushes into the teeth.. very la - di - da... well i had my braun for about 1 year and 3 months... aparently thats when the head gasket blows on em :(
