MAP Sensor

Where abouts is the MAP sensor located in an EB XR6 im having idle problems and my car seems to be running a lil rich,

any help much appreciated.

stand at front of car, look at firewall, look to the right, there it is size of a ciggy packet on the firewall, has a plug in the bottom and a vacuum hose.

the fuel reg in an xr6 is higher flow then standard, i belive XR's run rich by default or they lean out at top end.

Isnt the Map sensor on the intake manifold?
I know in my AU the MAP is located directly under where the throttle body (complete bastard of a place to get to).

I will say that if oyur MAP is gone you wont be running a "bit" rich, you will be running mega rich. Like about 10-1 A/F ratio.
