anyone done any metal polishing?

i want to polish up the 5 Litre V8 plate on top of the windosor inlet manifold to get it to look like chrome

stretch has got his like this but cant remember how his mate did it

any advice on how to go about it?

u need to get a spindal polisher, a sizel wheel and grey feropol wax, get into it, not overheating but adding on plenty of wax, then u get a fluffy wheel and white wax and polish to a mirror, this will make it shiny but u black. metal polishers will do it for u, if u get stuck go to a bull bar place or wheel repairer. once its all shinny get it clear powder coated.
