actually thats wrong about the tint on the windsheild. ive seen a few newer cars with what i can only describe as hologram type tint on the wind screen. i dont know what its called but its pretty visible that its there and it is legal. what isnt legal is normal kinds of tint on there. this tint doesnt restrict vision in anyway it just acts as a UV filter of sorts.

all the new renaults have the tint on the front windscreen mainly the scenics
but afik they put it in b/w the glass or something so it don't bubble up
thats the main reason why they dont do fronts cause their scared ppl will drive around with bubbled wind screens and smash into other cars because of poor visibility
thats what i heard atleast once we were getting the au tinted
just thought you might wonna know the reason they don't let the fronts get tinted
and afik it's illegal to have fully mirror tint like they have on those imported hilux surfs on the rear on front door windows but i know a friend who nhas an ef whth slightly mirrored tint across the whole car and it looks sweet
