Modeo Mk1 heater problem

Heater blows cold air only:
Fan works on all four settings:
Just changed the thermostat:
No hot air!
Live in Scotland and its colder than a well diggers ass here!
Help!

Have you run the car long enough to cycle the radiator? If there is air caught in the system the thermostat may not open. When the engine is cold, take off the radiator cap then start the car and let it run till it cycles a few times, and keep filling the radiator. If this is the issue you should get heat.
