I will try and keep this as short as possible, but any help would be most appreciated.

Mondeo 1994 2.0 Litre Ghia Auto Estate

1. Switch of Immobiliser (separate fob). Light comes on. Start engine. Drive away. Within 30 sec engine cuts completely. Will not start until I switch of, let alarm/immobiliser reset and go through start sequence again. Doesn’t do this every time when hot doesn’t do it at all.
2. If I stop, say to pick up a paper, go back and go through the start up, the immobiliser light now comes on, goes out, flashes 1-1-4 times and stays on.
3. This also weird. I had a problem where the car would not start at all. Checked out and found that the power relay was not operating. This is fed by the Ignition relay. I suspected the contacts in the Ignition Relay were high resistance so I changed the relay and everything worked fine for a couple of weeks. Fault reappeared. So I have wired out the Power relay and provide a feed separately.

Um.

The ignition relay is probably fed by the immobiliser.
If it's flashing a code I'd suggest letting the people you bought it off look at it under warranty, or at least asking them what the code means.

Other than that I have NFI :p
