I have a 97 T-Bird with a 3.8lL engine. It is getting on in miles so i thought i would put in a 3.8L SC motor without the Super Charged intake and just use mine but i am being told that the SC motor would be a real dog without the Charger on it. Any advice out there?

If you can swap out with an exact match.... DO IT you will save yourself a lot of head ache trying to get everything dialed in and you will want to use a really big wrench on your head after you mess with putting your SC on the new motor

I am being told that i would have to change the heads to get the SC to work right with out the Charger other wise the motor would be under powered. Think i might just rebuild my 3.8 and sell the SC motor.
