My ESP runs a 351 Cleaveland with a stage 2 Heatseeker cam, hydraulic lifters & Yella Terra roller rockers which are non adjustable except for adding/removing shims on the pedastal. The heads are 2V with 4V valves and extensive porting.

I am wanting to upgrade to a stage 3 or 4 cam for more RPM & power but as wondering what the equivalent is to a Motorsport cam. Also, what cars if any was this cam standard in. Does anyone have the specs for the Motorsport cam?

Why not try C.O.M.E racing for a cam..They have a much wider range for you to choose from and an online recommendation..

The motorsport hydraulic cam is 214/224@50 and .510"/.536" lift..

One prob though,much more than a mild cam you are limited by your valve train.. i.e,more cam requires more valvespring which overlaods the small 5/16" rocker bolts..

My Heatseeker Stage 2 is 202/208@50 and .488"/505" valve lift.

So I'm guessing the Ford Motorsport is equivalent to a stage 4. What spec cam did they run in GTHO's and was it the Motorsport cam?
