Has anyone out there done the conversion with a gas setup?
Basically I wanna know what parts will have to be changed and how much it will all cost to get fitted by a gas mechanic.

I know exactly what I've gotta do with the petrol and computer side of things just the gas business has me stumped and I'm not game enough to touch it without knowing what the Gas side of things is gonna set me back.

I've even contemplated removing the gas altogther if it's more economical to do so.

Visit your local gas fitter and get a quote on what you want done.
Most of us will discuss the process with you.

Do the conversion, disconnect the gas though, just turn it off from the back and plug the pipe. Get all your MPFI parts off an EA with gas (modified TB, gas computer, converter). Use an unmodified loom though. When you're done with installing the manifold and related stuff, take it down to the gas mechanic with the all the plumbing and stuff that came off the gas manifold and he'll put it all on and wire it up for about $200.

That should work I guess.
