Mud Flaps

I had an arguement with a flower bed the other day that finished in the destruction of a tire, and a rear mud flap. The tire has already been taken car of, but I'm now looking at replacing the flap.

I've just been looking at getting one of the black rubber sets you can get in K-Mart that either say "FORD" or "FALCON", I just wanted to know if these would look any good on an EA? Or whether I should look for a proper grey plastic EA flap at the wreckers.

The other reason the rubber one appeals is that I have a problem with the plastic flaps scraping on my driveway when I back out thanks to a large dip where the driveway meets the road.

Comments?

James

When I bought my car it had only 1 front mudflap which I removed. They only attach with a few screws, so it would make sense to have them on when there is a fair risk of damaging the paintwork due to rough roads. The rest of the time, I'm not a mud flap person either...

Re: ...

my cars lowered and i've got the mudflaps that say FORD on them. They do scrap a fair bit but on the dirt roads i drive on need the mudflaps to protect the wheel arches.
