I have Converted from a cnetre point EA to Eb 4ltr Multi point engine Since I have had problems with my Trans
not going into top gear, Box has just been fully Redone so not prob with box. Has anyone ever done this change before. Someone told me could be becuase my air con has no gas but yeah i am not sure.
any info woudl be great
Tim, is yer tranny kicking down when you floor the throttle??
Im not %100 sure but the 4.0L wouldnt have a separate TPS for the auto coz the auto ECU is integrated with the main engine ECU... maybe they havent added the 2nd one to control the auto kick down and 4th lock-up. Im assuming that you have the 4spd box so just check that there are 2 TPS on yer throttle body (Im also assuming that they havent rewired the whole auto looms so it can be run from the 4.0L ECU, if this is possible). Also try checkin yer ECU for error codes... the 4.0L may bring up a heap of tranny codes.
