Is my 3speed stuffed??

Hey guys,

Just today my transmission was playing up real bad. It was changing gears at weird points.

It won't change from first to second until it reaches around 2800rpm even if i'm barely touching the accelerator. Usually as soon as I release pressure on the accelerator at low speeds it changes to second gear, but now it won't change at all unless I go past 2500-2800rpm. Then after I get into second it's hard to get it into second..

And another thing, just once today I basically drove from 30-80kph in third?? This isn't normal is it?

Could this be fixed with a service? The tranny hasn't been serviced for ages..

If your fluid levels check out OK, a service is the only option.
