Just trying to find someone who could confirm following acronym explanation:
ABDC = after bottom dead center. I found this explanation on a automotive dictionary look up at Automotive Dictionary - www.babylon.com/define/14/Automotive-Dictionary.html.

There they say it is "A term used in timing the relation of the spark and the crankshaft." is that correct - I do need that in a work.... so you are the light at the end of my tunnel!!!

Mate that is correct. Just like TDC=top dead center, BTDC before top dead centre, ATDC after top dead centre etc etc

Hi guys,

Babylon, the company that offers the Automotive Dictionary mentioned above, now has launched LingoZ - The Online Dictionary Community, saying they are building the world's largest dictionary. You can lookup terms, vote for definitions, post comments or add your own terms. And that's where you guys might want get active with your expertise and your special vocabulary. I think that would rock. Or maybe we should have our own dictionary here at FordForums? What do you think?
