Good work Kerry!

Is it just underneath the car getting air from there? what are the gains? alot of air? what about water issues?
Im very eager, because I'm dying to do something similiar yo my EF but i have cornering lamps blocking me from doing so.

Thnx
ChuBBz

Hey Chubbz

I also have the intake snorkle, and since the pics i have made a tray to direct air up from the grill.

More response and better sound have been the gains, also i have had no problems with water.

I was going to cut a hole in the inner gaurd but the ABS module is in the way, so in went the way i did.

Cheers
Kerry

Hi Kerry

Your car is looking awesome, those wheels really set it off.

Long time since we have caught up on cold air mods, thanks for the info and pics you sent me a while back. I too have played around with set ups and attempted similar air boxes.

Have you tried it without the box? any difference. I have had mine on and off several times and can not make up my mind.

One thing that has worked for me.... a while back I bought the TE50 air snorkel thinking I would have the EL intake manifold. Never got the manifold so had the snorkel sitting around no good for current setup. Decided to chop it down and managed to modify it and use it upside down screwed to the bumper lip.

Now I know this soundz rough but believe me it actually came out nice. As the snorkel has a deep curve it hides away behind the bumper and cannot be seen yet still feeds cold air directly into the opening.

I will try to get some pics...need a digital camera!!!!! I did have mine like yours before but keep collecting it on curbs etc as my car is about the same height as yours.

anyway you know my email so drop me a line if you want to know more.
