The six cylinder engines don't really have names like 'Windor' etc. The AU is known as Intech from what I have gathered.
You'd just call it the CFI 3.9 and any enthusiast would know the one. The engines have a lot of torque and are good cruisers, but outright performance and economy, as with most Falcons, is held back by a few factors. The diff ratios, gearing, exhaust systems and so forth are biased towards refinement rather than speed.
