heres a pic of my homemade job on my subs in the boot. i know it dont look that professional, but i wanted to still use the boot, so this is what i ended up with.

Does the bass still sound good even though they're facing outwards? This is exactly how i want my subby..

yagz - yeah i prefer the subs rear fire, i find the bass to resonate alot better, and sounds nice and deep !

suposably having the subs facing that way is the best way to have them because the sound hits the back of the boot and then bounces back in towards the car, or sumthing like that

meant to be better having them that way tho.

looks pretty good good how u still have your room in the boot aswell i like the look of it with the two amps on the side as well.

nah i am pleased with it, i find it to be a little too punchy in the higher frequency bass, i will have to fiddle with the cross over points. In my last car (ED, god rest his soul) i experimented with subs facing front and back, i like the way it sounds rear fire. personal choice i guess !
