Need Help

I went to get into my XR6 VCT yesturday morning, its an AU3 and has the Pretige Sound. Anyways when i got into it, the red light was on next to the Load button. I tried to turn the radio on and nothing happened, then i tried turning the ignition on and still nothing happened with the radio. Has anyone else experienced this problem or is just poor old me.

Thanks

I haven't had the problem but what I'd try is disconnecting power from the unit, reconnect, put in security code (make sure you have this handy before you disconnect the power) and hope it works normally.

If you go to you local Ford place they will have a head unit remover (prongs) so you can just unplug the power from the back of the unit. Otherwise you can disconnect your battery. Make sure your car alarm is turned to "isolate" before you do. Saves a lot of loud noises and embarassment.
