Hi,

Can anyone explain how to remove the radiator fan from the truck - I'm at a loss.

theres a big nut holding it to the water pump right? just break that free and spin the whole fan right off, your fan shroud should say what thread is on it(many are left hand and therefore come off the opposite way)

Thanks 360 wagon,

I knew that I had to remove it but what was happening is that it kept spinning. I finally was able to brace it along with two friends holing the belt and the 8ml nuts before it would break free. They don't make it easy to get off.

Do you know of any tricks in case I have to do this agin? It was a pain .

i use an air hammer with a long chisel, usually a couple hits on the edge of the nut breaks it free.
