Hey all, I will be building a new box for my 12s soon, and it will be sealed. I am thinking of cutting out letters from the top in similar fashion to Bass Crazy's box, but with different letters of course. If I put neons in the box will they survive the pressure and all that? Or will they only survive in ported boxes?

They will be fine in any enclosure.

I suggest you use class if possible.
It's cheaper, easier to clean, more durable and looks better.

I don't know man, the MASSIVE pressure those W0's are going to put out are a bit of a worry if your gunna put neon's in there! I suggest you brace your front windscreen as well just to be safe.

dont use glass in the enclosure , just a imagin the presure inside the box . it could make a mouse xplod , send a human deaf in seconds , i got told from northfield car sound to use 4 sheets of 4 mm persects to handle the presure .

I'm going to be using 2 x 3mm sheets of perspex... They're only WOs and the cutouts aren't big, I'll get a photo of it as it is at the moment and you guys can tell me if it'll hold up...
