Yes I'm afraid so! Can any one confirm that I have to disconnect the battery when installing a T-series intake on my AU II VCT XR6? some thing to do with the ECU/computer relearning something?
any help appreciated, regards Ford jeepman
I've asked around about this and it should take around 200km. It should'nt matter what you drive as long as its EFI. I fitted one recently to my XR6 and it does'nt really make much noticable difference. Will help once an exhaust system is fitted though. Running on premium makes more of a difference to performance and fuel economy.
Thanks guys, I did the switch on intakes over the w/end, took it out today for a burn, as they say not much difference with just the T-series intake but it sure looks good, I'II just have to save up for some headers! Thanks to all once again, regards Ford jeepman.
