I couldn't get my old man's 94 Camry to start. Whenever I turn the key, there is a clicking noise from the engine bay (ratatatatat) but it will not start. I know this has nothing to do with a Ford, but is there a guy with mechanical knowhow here that can tell me what might be wrong B4 we take it to Toyota to fix so they can rip us off again? Yeah the car is old and my dads a cheapo and probably didn't get it serviced as often as he should've and that probably contributed! :-)

Might be loose or gunked up. Or could be dicky starter solenoid.

Iff not loose terminals,get a new battery or swap over from another car,check for charging alt.. That noise is the starter relay/solinoid poping in and out,not enough power/amps....
