Do they work ??

I thought what the heck, lets give this ago. Over the last month or so I have poured a bottle of this amazing "booster" in a full tank of optimax or synergy a few times.
Can anybody convince me they are worth it ? as I reckon if I pissed in the tank after a night on the piss would achieve better results !!

You are wasting your money putting octane booster in your AUIII XR8. The Aussie Ford V8's (Windsor and Boss) don't have a knock sensor and as such, you will not gain anything power wise by using octane boosters. The straight 6cyl will benifit as they do have knock sensors to adjust timing to the fuel being used. So yes, pissing in the tank would help more, depending on what you were drinking the night before..

we have a few threads on this before, most say if you want use it with success your car needs to be tuned for it to make any difference..
others say it crap, and some say there are 2 or 3 out there that are good, one is the black bottle the other is Nulon in the 500ml bottle not the $10 one in the 300ml bottle..

I agree with AUGZMK. Don't waste valuable brass, put it to work in a nice turbo or supercharger.
