Mum and I have been talking and we want to know how often we should change the oil in the ea?

Someone said 10000 k's and someone else said 5000 but I want to know when we should do it because we have now done almost 5000 and want to look after the car

I agree with laminge.. I may not always get them all but I try to change it.
The xa gets it every few months no matter how many Ks it has or hasn't done

I do the Oil every 5000kms, and the Filter every 10000kms.

Oil and filter every 5,000k's. Synthetic probably 10.

Oh, and don't forget to look after your radiator and coolant as well, change it every year or so. This is probably more important than the oil changes.

Thanks guys ....this was an exercise for xr8_mate

We were having a discussion about the oil changes & I said 5000k's.....he thought just because the Sprint was done every 10000k's that was how it was, so I told him to ask the experts

Yeah I do mine every 5,000km and usually change the filter at the same time, why not there worth bugger all. But if i do miss a 5000km change its definatly changed at 10,000. Without fail.

Me too, always at 5000kms. Worth spending the $30 and half an hour to change it rather than problems later. It can be stretched to 10,000kms, most people do but thats the most I would really do.

i change oil and filter @ 5000km, i would do it more often but i never get time.

i can get AC delco oil filters for $3.30 and oil for free, so my car is the cheapest to service out of all of you HA HA!!
