Re: oil filter???

not much just some flow different amounts and some have a valve inside that if the filter does get so cloged that it cant flow oil it bypasses the paper filter and feeds un filtered oil into a engine. suppose dirty oil is better than no oil

Re: oil filter???

K&N make oil filters nowadays... but ryco seems to be the norm.

Re: oil filter???

i have used ryco filters for ages...

i went in to supercheap a little while ago, and he said that Ryco are not making filters anymore(and the store had run out of Ryco filters), and just buy a gay "Valvoline, You know what I mean" filter. So I said to myself Ryco not making filters. I will go elsewhere. Then a few weeks later, fair enough Ryco oil filters back at supercheap.

TIKFD6 - about your sig, Tickford Wings, what is your thoughts if your car has a few tickford parts in it???

Re: oil filter???

Yeah, but each to their own, i mean, we can't stop them from using tickford parts. As they say, imitation is the best form of flattery, and the more people use tickford's symbol, the better known it will become..

Just some food for thought from a fellow xr owner..

Sorry to hijack the thread, yeah, ryco will do ya fine..
