I am trying to replace the oil pressure sensor on my EL Fairmont Ghia. Does anyone have some tips on what tool to use to get it off. I am working from underneith...

An oil pressure sensor tool, yes they do exist. If you cant get a hold of one of those try to find a deep socket the same size

The special socket is cheap at $10 and available from places like Repco and Auto pro. Di it next time you change the oil filter as it will be easier to do with the filter off.

Just replaced mine on the EA. Removed it by inserting a spanner through intake manifold to loosen it to point I could remove it by hand from below with oil filter removed. Installation is reverse procedure. Put some teflon tape on the thread to seal it.

New part supplied had different connector, so had to make up short wire bridge between old bolt-on one and new spade one as too hard to fix new spade to existing wire working under manifold from any angle.
