Oil. Who uses what?

Hi Guys,
What engine oil do you recommend & does anyone know what oil ford use in their servicing

I used to use mobil 1 but changed long ago to shell helix ultra. As for FORD hmmmmm
When i first picked up my car i did the usual thing b4 travelling 1200k's home to find......
on all wheels atleast 2 wheels nuts loose
low coolant level
spare flat!!!!!!!!!!!
low on eng oil, when i asked what oil they were using so i could top up i was told "Any good oil will do" nah nah nah mate im not mixing oils what oils r u USING i had to wait 10 mins for a reply, All this from a BRAND new car with 10k's on tha clock

Only use Mobil 1.....why go on the cheap with oil???

Helix Ultra is a synthetic oil. Very good too.

Mobil One here, the best oil in the business. Always have used Mobil one.

I'm not sure about your car, but I know that the ford service centre I goto use Mobil 15W50.

I've got an au2 futura (6 cycl)
