hi everyone

well over the past few weeks i been savin money to fix my
EA FALCON 89
CFI 3.9ltr

I managed to put in 2 speakers on the back doors

all by my self. 120w 4inch speakers. <-- there lame but sound ok..

I went down to the wreckers and picked up a new heater blower motor for 20 bucks. me and my dad installed it after 5 hours and some help from the workshop manual.

My pay goes in next week, and car is getting the exuast put in.
2.5 inch.

and if my pay is enough i will get it lowerd. i have attached some pics of my car below, sorry bout the quality but its a shitty camera im using.

WHY DID YOU PUT SPEAKERS IN THE REAR DOORS?

Yeah I was going to ask the same question, what was wrong with using the parcel tray, it has holes in it already for the stock speakers!

lol, dude, parcel tray is the go, don't put them in the back doors! Now, from the front you'll only be able to hear the front speakers, and the back ones will be useless. Don't try and follow the stupid holden way, with the VT. They have speakers in the rear doors, it's silly. :)

well, i am planing to have 4 speakers where the back window is, and 2 speakers on back doors(already done) and on the front(already done). i am putting 2x 6/9's speakers int he back with a pair of 6.5's. i will have a 4 chan amp bolted under my chair, and a 12 inch sub in the boot. i dunno, i like to be different for a change :)

u aint gonna need 4 speakers on the parcel shelf, just get a good pair of 6x9s and get some 6 inch splits for the front doors with tweeters mounted on your front piller.

if u want to get out of lowreing your car cheap.. just cut your springs, depending on how low u want it 1 coil will lower it about 1.5inchs..

If you want your car to handle well and not bounce everywhere I wouldn't be recommending chopping the springs. If you're going to do something that will affect the car's handling it should be done properly (IMO)

Chopping springs is not a good idea. Get it done right. Saving the amount of money you would with chopping will never compare to the satisfaction of a decent ride.

to achieve good sound you should ditch the whole idea of back speakers and rear ones. I reckon you should get decent splits at the front and have a sub at the back.. this way you the driver can achieve decent sound quality. However your back seat passengers will be feeling nautious.

Keep moding mate, everyone here is giving you advice so you dont learn things the hard way :)
