Hi Guys,

I have an 87 LTD with a 250 EFI. I want to be able to do something really stupid. I want to tinker with the program in the Engine Management computer, more for interests sake and something to do rather than to get better performance/economy out of it (but that is a bonus). I have some information on the computer that runs it all, but not a great deal.

I was after some more information on the computer (instruction set, IO etc) and (a real long-shot) a copy of the stock program that was supplied by ford so that I have a starting point. Has anyone done/tried this before. any advice/pointers would be great

I have a (very) technical document on the eec iv. Its a pdf file and is about 1meg in size. It should have everything you can dream about the eec....

It also has EEC V stuff. Bare in mind its from the US and as such relates mostly to V8's.
