Orion 1984

could anyone recall Orion 1984.(Europe, Escort Mk3)
That was nice limousine at the time. And simple but advanced engine with vacuum carb and both PCV and EGR valve.
I like the vehicle and did make first refreshment of its engine.
I also replaced the carb (with the same type) and would like to adjust but at idling and cruising to get white exhausting pipe again as it was few years ago.
Would someone write few sentences about it.
I would like to be sure I've done the job properly.
