first of I'm a vol fire fighter and I use my POV to respond to calls last night I was onscene of a fire I left my 1998 CVPI running (idle) no a/c on and it started to over heat the check engine light came on I added more water to the fill bottle but it was still steaming after it had cooled and restarted I replaced the intake manifold in 2002 shortly after I bought the car the steam seems to be comming from the front of the car near the front clip any and all suggestions will be helpful
Well guys and gals it was the fan that burned up and burnt part of the wiring harness I took it too a local repair shop and 316.00 later (ouch) I got a new fan and new wiring harness

Are your electric thermo cooling fans on the radiator working OK?
Did it have sufficient water? Any leaks? (hoses/radiator sides.....are yours plastic?)
