I recently baught a 1999 Liquid Silver XR6, however I was unable to afford extra frills like Tickford rims at the time. I have the S rims or XLS rims, I forget, which I might add annoy the hell out of me.... Especially since my exact car is parked outside my Uni every day with S2 T 17's for me to envy :(. I was wondering what the cheapest way to score a set of S2 tickford rims is, through a legal avenue. Does anyone know what these go for? I am waiting for a reply from WheelKing. Also would I get a trade in on my rims? The tyres are brand new and the rims unscaved. What other mods look good on these xr's?

One final question. How much does the Rebel kit cost ?

Mike, you'd definitely be able to do a trade in on your current rims if you bought the 17"s from a wheel shop. Buying second hand from an owner who is upgrading might be your cheapest bet.

Fordstore & WheelKing list my 16" as more expensive then the 17" Tickfords?

I e-mailed both stores. Hopefully I wont burn my pocket hardcore with the switchover.

I traded my AU S1 16" rims (no tyres) for $500. AU2 17" are in the trading post for $1750 with tyres. Get rid of those 16s.
