my battery died so i changed it.......my battery light is still on.....pulled the + off while car ran and it shut of.....my alternator is not charging......so i bought a bigger alternator cause im doing a system.....same thing battery light still on.....i have a 200 amp alt and i have 4 gauge going from alt to battery and 4 gauge ground from battery to alt bracket grinded of paint.....i check all fuses and they are fine....belt seems to be okay too.....alt still is not charging battery???? any info will be appreciated

Year, make and model may help. Internal regulator? or external regulator? Check wires from alt for continuity.
