Heya.

I own an EB XR8 and I have a few Questions...

Can anyone give me the estimated Price of a Starter Motor for an EB XR8 New and 2nd Hand? Im just looking for Estimates.

And Does anyone have an Estimated Price on how much a Tyre Centre would charge for 225/50's for 16" Rims.

Cant help you with the starter motor but as for tyres it depends on if you want good tyres or shit ones.

You could get Bob Jane Outtarounders (oops allrounders) for a little over $100, or SP9000 for $300 odd, and anything and everything inbetween.

Personally id recommend Dunlop FM901s, they are a good mid-upper range tyre. Some people seem to think these are noisey though? These are what im running and no complaints here...

I picked up a set of Dunlop FM901s early last year for $180 a tyre (fitted). Had quotes ranging from $185 to $235 per tyre before. This is for 225/50R16 natch.

This tyre has performed very well in Motor's last 2 tyre tests and I have to say I'm pretty happy with them. They grip well in dry and wet and have a good feel to them too. Back end never feels nervous in my ED.

I find the khumo 712's a VERY good tire that are quite cheap ($150 a tyre i believe).

If you want performace, go the Bridgestone RE540 R-comps, i've got those on my car and they are AMAZING (get ready for a 60kph+ tyre whine tho) :)

trade price for the R-comps are $260 per tyre... not sure on retail - can't be much more (oh and dont expect much more than 15,000kms

You could look at around $150 exchange for a rebuilt starter fro any good auto electrician
