My mate just got a new pod filter on his mirage....and rekins that the gains are pretty good....i was just wondering if it would be beneficial on my tx5?
it depends on the size of your airbox and intake plumbing as much as the 'pod' itself..
got a picture of your airfilter, and induction set up as it is now.. If it is really poorly designed or restrictive a pod might reduce a bottleneck and let her breathe freely.. It not really a more HP thing but a faster throttle response anyhow
its all stock TX5 setup atm.....ill get pics of it when i get the camera....but if anyone has a pic of a stock TX5 engine bay...post it in here please.
on a mirage it would make a difference as they are only a 1.5, but it mite be worth it to borrow his air filter for the day and see how your car goes with it.

the way ahmed has his setup it aint working to properly, its drwaing hot air from the exhaust, it'll prob work but is drawing hot air from the motor, on a mirage the pod sits behind the battery, it mite work on urs, thats y i suggested that u borrow ur mates filter and see how u go
