Power Steering trouble

Howdy All

My power steering in my EF has a problem I can't seem to figure out. Basically it will work fine and not leak for days on end, but then all of a sudden it will blow fluid out through the cap and start leaking out of the seals in the steering rack.

I figure it is over pressurising, but why and how can I fix this. Is there a pressure relief valve or filter that is blocked causing this?

Re: Power Steering trouble

You may have water in the system. Give it a flush and see how you go.
