I have a mate who is looking to buy a 2nd hand Powerdyne Blower kit complete.Do the Powerdyne blowers wear out very fast,can you rebuild them???

Also if a blower is fitted to a 5.0litre what are the fuel increases like just weekly driving around in traffic??? Is this affected by adding a blower??? I thought a supercharger gave you better economy???

It depends on the right foot. But floor it and it'll use it !!!
Pd are o/k on lower boost levels, which is exactly what you'd use for street on std mill...The internal belt often wears out, no big deal...

its a shame, think my mate wont be getting the turbo anymore....he says insurance is the main problem, he will JUST get herrod exhaust and cam instead

i will need to try and con him into it, but hes only a youngin so by the time he is 25 he will have an XR6T anyway....
