powersteering trouble

hello everyone, i have just purchased a 79 p6 ltd all totally standard. my problem is the powersteering turns to the right perfectly but is really heavy turning to the left, has enough fluid and doesnt leakany suggestions?

That might be a steering box issue if it's consistant? If it's not consistant? It might just bea fluid issue. Maybe level or pressure?

More than likely the box.

But..... also check the pitman arm and idler arm angles. With the front wheels pointing straight ahead, the pitman arm and idler arm should also be straight ahead. I have had a wheel aligner shorter up one side tierod and lengthen the other, which changed the operating angles of the pitman arm and idler arm in relation to the centrelink. Made one direction easy, and the other hard. Also limited maximum lock on one side as well.

thanks for the response boys, been playing around today and the problems is only intermitant. went round 2 roundabouts no probs then at low speed could hardly turn into my driveway. bloody wierd.
